Why Apple app quit unexpectedly?
1. It happens when you re-install or update MacOS
2. Compatible issue
e.g. Your device is no longer supported by latest app version
Solution:
Use command line to force sign app’s signature with Terminal.
*Note: Internet Connection may be required.
Tested on MacOS High Sierra 10.13.6
Sample command line:
sudo codesign --force --deep --sign - /Applications/*appname.app
e.g. keynote.app (Apple Keynote)
sudo codesign --force --deep --sign - /Applications/keynote.app

Tips:
The tutorial is very straightforward.
1. Open an app on your macOS called, "Terminal"
2. Copy the command line (in the description)
The command line starts with "sudo...ends with appname.app"
You need to change "appname.app" to app that you are having issue with. For example, if you have an issue with Apple Number app, the command line should be, sudo...number.app
(Look out for typo, any small mistake, you have to copy and paste command line again)
3. You will be asked to type a password because Terminal needs an Administrator privilege to proceed (that password is the one you use to login your mac every time you open it)
4. Then read what it shows. It should be like in the video, "it is replacing signature..."
5. You know it complete when it shows a new line with your login name + ending with "$"
6. Done. Just open you app to see whether it works.
I know the tutorial is very basic for experienced user, but it seems a bit confused for newbie.
That's why I make it short and simple as much as I can.
Please watch it several times along with this writing, it will make more sense.
